A New Chapter for Bigfoot Outfitters

For years, Bigfoot Outfitters has been a staple for adventure and relaxation on the river. As much as I have loved guiding guests through the rapids, I’ve reached a point where I want to shift my focus toward the thing that matters most to me: spending more time with my family.

To create that balance, I have decided to sell the White Water Rafting portion of the business. I will continue to own and operate our cabin rentals, but I am looking for a motivated adventurer to take the helm of the rafting division.

What’s next for Bigfoot Outfitters?

We plan to double the amount of rentals we have on property over the next year. In the area where we have our six RV rental sites we will be purchasing and installing six cabins like the one shown in this picture. We hope to have those ready to rent by Memorial Weekend! They will sleep up to eight people each.

Additionally, we have two other buildings on site we will be renovating and once those are complete we will have gone from a eight rental units to a total of sixteen rental units. Lastly, until we have a new buyer for the rafting portion of the business we will be partnering with a few top notch rafting companies that will be offering a special deal for any of our previous rafting guests and current cabin rental guests. Those special offers will be listed on the rafting page of our website soon! We’ll keep you updated as changes take place and once a new owner has taken over the rafting portion of the business.

Opportunity Announcement: Bigfoot Outfitters Rafting Division For Sale

The Sale Package: $250,000

This price includes the full transfer of ownership for all rafting-related assets:

  • Transportation: (2) Large transport buses & (1) Short bus with trailer.
  • The Fleet: (16) Professional-grade Aire rafts.
  • Full Gear Set: All paddles, PFDs (Life Jackets), and helmets.
  • Organization: Custom PFD storage racks and helmet and paddle bins for efficient logistics.
  • The Lead List: Our proprietary customer database, ensuring you have an established audience from day one.

Permit & Licensing

Please note that while the operating permit cannot be “sold” as part of the asset list, I will work closely with the new owner to facilitate the formal transfer of the permit through the proper agencies. This ensures you have the legal right to continue operations on the river without interruption.

The “Success Package” (Mentorship & Logistics)

I am committed to seeing the new owner succeed. The sale includes a full transfer of my “industry playbook,” including:

  • Vendor Lists: Trusted contacts for gear, insurance, and maintenance.
  • Historical Data: Past pricing structures and seasonal performance information.
  • Operational Logistics: I will share the “ins and outs” of the river routes, shuttle timing, and staffing logistics I’ve refined over the years.

Branding & Digital Presence

  • I will be retaining the name “Bigfoot Outfitters” and the current website and social media assets for the cabin rental business.
  • Naming Rights: You are welcome to use “Bigfoot” in your new business name (e.g., Bigfoot Ocoee Rafting).
  • Preferred Partnership: I will place a prominent link on my website, naming you as our “Preferred Partner” and directing all cabin guests to your new booking site.

The Facility Transition (Optional 1-Year Lease)

I am offering a temporary, one-year lease of the Raft Barn and the Gift Shop located on the property.

  • Lease Terms: The lease price is not included in the $250,000 sale price and will be negotiated separately.
  • Relocation: After the initial 12-month period, the rafting operations will move to a new location.
